SVG files can't be saved with live text in them. It's not compatible across software platforms and the file would not even be able to be opened. There are two files included with your purchase with the text in place; the .eps and .ai files. You will need a program like Adobe Illustrator to edit those.

This is a DIY file—I don't customize the designs. The template comes with a font that you install on your computer. After that, select the font from your design editing software and type out your information. The file is grouped by color so it's easy to make adjustments.

SVG can be used with: Cricut Design Space, and Silhouette Designer Edition, Make the Cut (MTC), Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL), and Brother Scan and Cut “Canvas” software.
DXF can be used with: Silhouette Basic Edition.
EPS can be used with: CorelDraw, Inkscape, and Adobe Illustrator
PNG is a photo file with a transparent background
